Healthy recipes to keep you full longer! Restaurant and product reviews, and more!
As a gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, and tomato free individual for over 5 years, I have found it very difficult to eat out at restaurants. This is a problem because I LOVE eating out! There doesn’t seem to be a comprehensive guide on the internet to gluten free restaurants and dining, so I am compiling this information to help you with a wonderful gluten free dining experience.
You will also find delicious and healthy recipes that are all gluten and dairy free. Since I cannot have dairy and have found it a challenge to find delicious protein powder and energy snacks, many of these treats will be vegan. Others can be modified to be vegan.
Disclaimer: I am gluten intolerant, not allergic or Celiac. If you are either of those, consult your physician before dining out.
That said, it is important to note the difference between “Gluten Free” and “Gluten Friendly”. Most restaurants will tell you they do not have a gluten free menu, rather, one that is gluten friendly. This is because they have one shared kitchen with shared air and surfaces. This is important if you are allergic or Celiac. I will note the difference in each restaurant’s review.
