Don’t know about you, but I seriously miss green bean casserole. As a kid, I hated it. What kid didn’t? But, since I can’t have gluten or dairy anymore, it’s been missing from my life.
Until now.
This amazingly savory dairy free green bean casserole is super easy to make, plus it smells amazing and it has those perfect little crunchy fried onions on top.
You know, the ones your kids (or husband) will eat as a snack if you leave them sitting around, and then you wonder where the heck they all went?!
So hide the gluten free fried onions from your kids and husband, and join me on an all-natural, preservative free adventure. (No, not THAT natural, we at least have jammies or a robe on over here!)

What You Need
This is SUPER EASY. No excuses for you to use the canned crap. Make the dairy free gluten free cream of mushroom soup first!
I use a pan big enough to hold all the ingredients so I don’t have to clean another bowl. Moms against dishes unite!
Pour in the green beans and stir. Pour that into an 8×8 pan and then sprinkle on the gluten free fried onions. I only used half the can…but my mom uses the whole thing. It’s however much crunch you want, mama!
Then BAKE. Then shake. We like to dance over here.

Ingredients
- 3.5 cups green beans or 2 cans
- GF cream of mushroom
- 1/2 can GF French fried onions
Instructions

Make the GF cream of mushroom.

Mix in the green beans.

Pour into an 8x8 baking dish.

Sprinkle onions on top.

Bake @ 350 for 15 minutes or until onions are browned. (If using fresh green beans, precook first).
